Background:Phoebus Software is leading tech company providing loan and mortgage servicing platforms to banks and building societies. We are in an exciting period of transformation. Our product organisation is evolving from a delivery-focused function into a strategically-led operation with full commercial accountability across our product lines. This role sits at the heart of that change.
If you are an innovator who is excited by working with technology that directly impacts Clients, this is a unique opportunity for you to be involved in the early stages of the development of a forward thinking application, with a critical focus on enhancing the user experience, while leveraging contemporary Cloud technologies from AWS, and contemporary development technologies and frameworks such as JAVA 17, Springboot 3.0, Cucumber and Allure.
StrategyPhoebus is building a product organisation that operates to the highest standard. Commercially rigorous, evidence-led, and structured to deliver long-term platform value for our clients and the BA function sits at the heart of that ambition.
This is not a support function. Business Analysis at Phoebus is a strategic capability within the product organisation responsible for closing the gap between complex business problems and well-considered solutions and ensuring that the right intelligence reaches the right people at the right time. As we scale, BAs will operate as a shared, flexible resource across the full product ecosystem across Specialist Mortgages, Residential Mortgages, and Savings allocated against the highest priority work and governed by the Head of Product.

  • Work closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to feed discovery intelligence into roadmap sessions and planning cycles.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure requirements are technically sound and well understood before work begins.
  • Partner with client-facing teams to ensure product and release communications are accurate, well-framed, and appropriately timed.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with internal and external stakeholders to define problems, validate solutions, and drive alignment.
Commercial Contribution
  • Support the scoping and costing of change requests, ensuring commercial implications are understood before any commitment is made.
